Before joining the insurance market, Rowan spent eight years in the corporate department at the international law firm Dentons. Rowan specialized in private M&A work in the financial services sector and spent time on secondment to an investment bank and a Lloyd’s syndicate.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Auckland with Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce (majoring in accounting). She was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in 2008 and became a qualified charted accountant in 2010. Stephanie joined the M&A tax team at Deloitte, New Zealand, where she was involved with a number of high profile transactions. In pursuit of commercial experience, Stephanie left Deloitte to join an in-house tax team at one of New Zealand’s iconic financial services company, Tower Limited.
In 2013, Stephanie became a senior underwriter at AIG London. She has underwritten W&I policies with insureds from various sectors and jurisdictions, and has also been the lead underwriter leading a program of insureds and underwriters on a number of deals. Her specializations include underwriting European deals with US coverage attributes. She spent time in New York in early 2015. Stephanie speaks fluent Mandarin, which has added much value to Chinese insureds.

Samuel graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Commerce and went on to study at BPP Law School in London. Samuel joined Nabarro LLP in 2010, qualifying as a solicitor in 2012 into the corporate department. Samuel focused on Private and Public M&A transactions in various sectors including real estate, technology and healthcare, with a number of those transactions being W&I insured.
In January 2016, Samuel joined the Liberty GTS (where he previously worked for Liberty’s subsidiary Ironshore) team in London underwriting warranty and indemnity insurance on UK and European M&A transactions. As the UK Manager, Samuel focuses on both transactions in the UK and English law transactions worldwide. Samuel has maintained excellent relationships with brokers and clients alike with significant experience working with private equity funds, corporates and management teams to ensure a smooth process during underwriting.

Dave joined the Hogan Lovells Corporate/Commercial department in 2010 where he had a particular focus on telecoms and mining related M&A transactions before moving to Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs (ENSAfrica) in 2012. Simon qualified as a solicitor in 2008.
